Road Trip

Hi, everyone! I am restarting my blog from my time in Japan in order to document my upcoming road trip. As many of you know, I am going to graduate school in Santa Barbara, CA, and I will be driving my beloved car Kuro there with a ton of stuff!

I'll go as far as St. Louis by myself, but stopping off to visit friends on the way, and then my dear friend Amy Kulik will drive the rest of the way with me. With my new swanky iphone, I hope to post pictures and impressions with ease!

Here's the rough itinerary for the trip:

9/8: Cleveland
9/10: Urbana, IL
9/11: St. Louis
9/12: Red Rock Canyon, OK
9/13: Santa Fe, NM
9/14: Turquoise Trail through western NM
9/15: Grand Canyon/Supai, AZ
9/16: (crossing into CA so we're close; still working on it!)
9/17: Arrive in beautiful Santa Barbara!

I hope to have decent phone and internet access throughout, but since I'm unlikely to have much spare time during the trip, you might consider sending me a letter to greet me upon my arrival! Here's my address:
